After exploring our website you might like to visit Brierley, find out more and see us at work. You are most welcome at any time.

The school is co-educational and caters for children from 4 - 11 years old.

Our commitment is to the continuity and progression of your child's education. We believe in a firm partnership between home and school, after all, it is you who knows your child best.

During their years at Brierley, we hope that children will enjoy the stimulating and caring learning environment we create and that their true potential, both socially and academically can be reached.
The classrooms are grouped around the main hall which is used for assembly, P.E. and a dining room. Each classroom base is serviced by toilets, washbasins and cloakroom areas as well as having its own entrance. Four of the classrooms are joined together to form a working area for art and other practical activities.

We have three playground areas and a large playing field. There is also an environmental site to one side of the school. This provides a useful resource for first hand experience containing both a pond and nature area.

We have a computer suite containing 20 PCs and have interactive whiteboards in all classrooms. The school has a landscaped garden area for the children to enjoy. Creative planting and interesting walkways have enhanced the school grounds and given the children a quiet area to sit.

We are situated behind St. Paul's CE Church which provides further learning stimuli.

At Brierley School we pride ourselves on promoting a healthy lifestyle. We encourage healthy eating and provide fruit for children. We also provide opportunities to participate in sporting activities and after school clubs.
Excellence in Cities allows us to make provision for Gifted and Talented pupils and promote thinking skills among children.
